ABOUT Premier futbol academy

Premier was formed for all the right reasons. was formed when 20+ coaches we’re not happy with the state of the current needing to question morals or ethics in youth club soccer when coaching for Alamo City Soccer Club. At the time, there was a consensus that “something was not right,” but the circumstances were such that there wasn’t a fix. This was the impetus to create something better.

River City Premier was founded in 2017. Shortly after our founding the club was received a cease and desist for the use of River City in our club name from the River City Rangers from Austin. Why a not-for-profit would sue another not-for-profit still has us baffled. Never in the history of our club have we ever received an inquiry from anyone with the intent of getting a hold of the River City Rangers…🤔

WHY PREMIER

It’s simple really…grab a seat.

There is a better way. There is a better way to be more intentional and train players that not only can and do compete with the best in texas but also understand that personal and team values are what separates Premier players from *insert your club here*.

According to NCAA about 7% percent of HS age athletes play at the collegiate level. That means that on average, a team of 18 players will have 1.26 players make the collegiate level. Our competitors rely on their access to “higher” leagues to entice parents and pull in the best players in the city. The important question is, “What attention is being paid to the other 17 players?” They are surely going to be solid soccer players, most of the clubs in town produce quality players, but has the club missed an opportunity to promote life long values? Have they missed an opportunity to create a confident well rounded player on and, for most, off the field once high school and club soccer is complete.
